This peculiarity gives the shoe a dual personality, creating a fascinating contrast as well as a dynamic and elegant visual effect.
The richness of the broken two-tone effect is given by the use of the Toledo handmade technique in which the shoe is hand-painted on the upper mounted on a last. The colours are dabbed directly onto the untreated leather and then finished with waxes and brushes, acquiring an inimitable bright and polished look. In the antique version, this effect is further enhanced with colour shading that makes each shoe a unique and exclusive piece.
