Fratelli Rossetti opens Milan Men’s Fashion Week with the new Fall/Winter 26–27 collection, celebrating the perfect balance between its historic DNA and a new aesthetic vision. The undisputed protagonist is the iconic Brera loafer, which this season introduces two major innovations: the Brera with contrast stitching and the new Brera Cut.
Fratelli Rossetti’s new proposal highlights the value of handcraftsmanship through a macro contrast-stitching technique. The famous tasselled loafer is reinvented through an interlacing of white threads that trace a geometric grid across the upper, emphasizing the mastery of its artisanal construction. This workmanship is not only a tribute to the tradition of the master artisans of Parabiago, but also a visual reference to the world of Milanese design and architecture, where stitching shifts from a functional element to a decorative one.
The Fall/Winter color palette explores deep shades of Bordeaux, tan leather and black, illuminated by the optic white of the stitching and enriched by the detail of a wool lining. The leather, treated with skilled hand-applied dyeing techniques, makes each pair unique, offering a sheen that enhances the relief of the hand-sewn stitches.
Alongside the innovation of macro stitching comes the new Brera Cut, presented this time in an even more unconventional version that plays with symmetry and volume.
This version of the Brera Cut explores the deconstruction of the upper, allowing for sophisticated color pairings such as deep bordeaux combined with black, which accentuate the shoe’s architectural lines.
