April 28th 2015 – Fratelli Rossetti toasted the beginning of Expo 2015 with Franciacorta Italian wines in its boutique on Via Montenapoleone. The official wine of Expo Milano 2015 boosted a festive atmosphere, while the sounds of the Street Clerks live show got the party going. The guests included renowned chefs Davide Oldani and Stefano Cerveni, stars and moguls from the show business, as well as athletes such as soccer players Gianluca Zambrotta, Bernardo Corradi, Demetrio Alberini, Billy Costacurta. During the evening event, Fratelli Rossetti presented its activities for Expo 2015: “Tuesday Tasting Night” every Tuesday, 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm, Franciacorta wines will be made available for dedicated tasting sessions, while renowned sommeliers from the official Italian Association (AIS) describe its characteristics “Shoes from the World” a selection of ethnic items from the Fratelli Rossetti Private Collection will be on display in the boutique from May 1st to October 31st 2015, as part of a tribute to peoples and cultures during the Universal Exposition. Additionally, Fratelli Rossetti will be present in Expo as a sponsor of Vanke. The Chinese real estate venture has chosen to use the Milanese brand’s footwear and accessories to add an Italian hint to its pavilion by Daniel Libeskind. “We firmly believe that Expo presents a great opportunity to put outstanding Italian products in centre stage on a global scale,” explained Luca Rossetti, CEO of Fratelli Rossetti. “Our partnership with Franciacorta has brought together two brands and fields that share a common quest for uncompromising quality.” “We are the Official Sparkling Wine Sponsor of Expo Milano 2015 and we trust its potential to showcase superb Italian output to a national and international audience,” stated Maurizio Zanella, President of the Franciacorta Association. “We are delighted to share this goal with Fratelli Rossetti, epitomizing the very best in Italian style and craftsmanship.” Fratelli Rossetti was founded in 1953 by the visionary genius Renzo Rossetti in Parabiago, just outside Milan. At the time, a national fashion industry was just beginning to develop in Italy. The company is now run by brothers Diego, Luca and Dario from the second generation of the family.
