Fratelli Rossetti presents the ‘Stripes under your feet’
project, in collaboration with cc-tapis
Fratelli Rossetti choose Fuori Salone to present two special edition loafers with multicoloured soles, in collaboration with elegant cc-tapis rugs made for this special occasion. The connective threads are the colours: white is blended with mauve, pink and black to create striped effects.
All cc-tapis rugs are completely hand-knotted by expert Tibetan artisans in Nepal. A strong respect for materials and for the culture of this ancient craft is reflected in the company’s eco-friendly approach to every step of the production process. Far removed from the idea of mass production, cc-tapis aims to offer a tailored service to those who understand and enjoy a high-end product.
This partnership evolved from the shared values between Fratelli Rossetti and CC-Tapis: their respect and use of the finest materials, their ability to combine classic techniques with contemporary flairs and their international focus.
The installation “Stripes under your feet” will be showcased in the Fratelli Rossetti flagship store windows at 1 Montenapoleone in Milan beginning Saturday, April 14, 2018 through the end of the Salone del Mobile on Sunday, April 22, 2018. An opening event, including wine tasting and DJ, will take place on the evening of Thursday, April 19 at 6:30PM.
