Fratelli Rossetti presents Day Dreaming, Dreamy slippers, at home and beyond
Fall Winter 2021-22 - Fratelli Rossetti proposes a sentimental and optimistic collection that starts from the home only to flourish en plein air. As soft and cozy as slippers, footwear emerges from the bedroom, unveiling itself to the outside world with a dreamy and energetic style. The dreamlike world of the night spills over into everyday life, turning the wearer into a day dreamer, as recounted in the video presented on occasion of Milano Moda Donna.
Slippers are of course the undisputed protagonists of this collection: comfortable by vocation, thanks to the mix of patterns and bright colors they convey cheer and nonchalance. Characterized by an ultra-thin sole, they never succumb to essentiality: decorative patterns abound, like the double fringe and oversized tassels that perfectly match with animalier style materials.
Winter 20121/22 is the occasion for launching the new bag from the Magenta line: the Mini-Magenta. The top-handle and cross-body bag distinguishes itself due to the leather reinterpretation of the iconic stirrup and its mignon size, in response to new requirements in terms of practicality and occasions for use.
But there's more from the collection. A wide range of proposals designed to satisfy diversified tastes. There has been focus on the development of new techniques that generate highly contemporary effects in the world of mannish shoes, in particular including:
- The Cosmo line, in which past and future rub shoulders, with the blending of state-of-the-art artisan techniques and ornaments that allude to ancestral shapes. The iconic Brera loafer and new Oxford shoe from the catwalk line are embellished with celestial patterns, light and impalpable details that lead the shoe into an unexpected dimension. The finishing is created with a futuristic technique that enables the engraving of even the smallest of details, like the constellations that cover the entire shoe, bestowing new light upon it.
- The engraved finishing is sophisticated and striking. Master craftsmen engrave the upper, creating graphic patterns on the leather, forging a unique product. The leather also accentuates this shoe’s prestige as it is hand-painted using the Toledo technique.
