November 29th, 2013 – Laren celebrates the Made in Italy with a special event dedicated to Fratelli Rossetti in collaboration with Brogues Herenschoenen multi-brand concept store.
During the evening of Friday November 29th, the Fratelli Rossetti Master Craftsmen have revealed some of the secrets of a timeless style: a chance to discover how much care and attention Fratelli Rossetti places in making each shoe.
Focus of the event was the Toledo technique, a traditional process shoe painting. The originally raw “white” leather – a vegetable-tanned calfskin - is buffered by hand with color dye applied directly on the upper. The final result is a leather that is very glossy, shiny with shades that make unique each shoe.
Fratelli Rossetti was established in 1953 by Renzo Rossetti. Today it is one of the world’s most important footwear and accessory manufacturers. The entire shareholding belongs to the family, and the head offices remain in Parabiago, on the outskirts of Milan, where production is still carried out according to traditional methods.
Brogues Herenschoenen is a multi-brand luxury concept store, dedicated exclusively to men and located in the heart of Laren, welcoming environment, full attention to details and to the client’s special requests, are just a few of the characteristics that make Brogues Herenschoenen special and very appreciated by its clients.
