Milan Women’s Fashion Week, February 2017 – Fratelli Rossetti will create a warm glow to present their offering for next winter. A highly theatrical collection dedicated to an urban duchess in search of a regal style. The jewelled accessories, beautifully handcrafted each with a different shape, will steal the show.
Among the outstanding pieces that will be presented is a new masculine structure, with a square shape, available as flats or with a slightly block mid-heel. The fringed clogs, also with a mid-heel, stand out, while the androgynous style of the moccasins is balanced by their high heel. The collection would not be complete without the classic court shoes, given a new dimension by their jewelled detailing, and the label’s best-seller, the fringed Hobo.
Even the colours and fabrics have an aristocratic feel: the sumptuous velvets offer a spectrum of rich tones, while the model in metallic leather captures the light.
The Milan Women’s Fashion Week, set in the splendid Palazzo Visconti, will be enlivened by The Quincey DJ Set. The models will be wearing hats by Altalen, while home furnishings by Arflex and Baxter, hand knotted rugs by CC-Tapis, resin accessories by Mumble Mumble in collaboration with Annamaria Grandi, and the musical instruments by Noah Guitars will complete the scenography.
Fratelli Rossetti was founded in 1953 by the visionary genius Renzo Rossetti in Parabiago, just outside Milan. At the time, a national fashion industry was just beginning to develop in Italy. The company is now run by the brothers Diego, Luca and Dario from the second generation of the family. With their dedication and devotion, they have taken the company to its 60th anniversary and beyond, with a constant focus on quality at all times. Over the years, the brand has become synonymous with style in Italy and across the globe. It embodies the values of unparalleled craftsmanship.
